- Walk the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk 30 meters above the canopy floor. Steel bridge, no handrails in some sections, moss-covered trees older than the city below.
- Hold a koala at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast. It weighs less than you'd think and smells faintly of eucalyptus oil.
