Eight days from Lanzhou west to Dunhuang and back through Xi'an. Qinghai Lake by boat, Zhangye's striped Danxia, camel trek at Crescent Spring, the Mogao grottoes, then the Terracotta Army. High-speed rail and one domestic flight included.
